Focus Group at Good Neighbours’ Club

About 15 members of the Good Neighbour’s Club joined a More Moss Park focus group on May 17 for an informative chat about Moss Park, what safety means to them and how to design a park that meets the needs of older community members.

Good Neighbours is a members-only club that has been providing recreational programming for men 50 years old and over who are homeless or under-housed, and are excited to help shape what comes next!

“I want to see music, arts rooms and theatre in the park. I’m a singer, not a jock. Recreation is about more than sports” - Tom.

“There was a baseball league for older guys like us, I used to play in it. It would be good to see more activities like that, for us” - Raphael.
